So, now it is time to decide how I want the finished bike to look, and as a lot of it will need replacing, this will make the choices somewhat easier.
I would like to replace the swing arm, with a later style box-section, purely for aesthetic reasons, and I have always liked the airways replica.
As I removed the parts, I sent them all away for replating, this saved me having to clean them myself and ensured that they last for at least another 20 years.
Most of the rear of the bike is now stripped down, and I managed to wrestle the silencer off today, so the next step will be removing the swing arm.
I have put the Block and tackle in place ready to lift the rear up.
